566,944. Woven fabrics. WRIGHT & SONS, Ltd., M., and WILLIAMSON, W. Feb. 20, 1943, No. 21803/44. Divided out of 566,922. [Classes 142 (ii) and 142 (iv)] A double woven fabric comprises front warps F<1>, F2 interlaced with double picks of a front weft wf inserted from one edge, rear warps R<1>, R<2> interlaced with double picks of a rear weft wf<2> inserted from the same edge, binding warps B<1>, B<2> binding the two wefts together and a common selvedge thread S locking the bights of the double picks at the return edge. The selvedge thread extends through the bights of a front and rear weft in one direction and through the bights of the next rear and front weft in the opposite direction. A band of warps G, forming the " gut," extends between the two sets of double picks. Specification 566,922 is referred to.
