566,440. Work-holders. SIDDAWAY & SONS, Ltd., E., and CURNOW, J. J. P. Aug. 11, 1943, No. 13016. [Class 83 (iii)] A work-holder for securing work-pieces on machine tool tables consists of an L-shaped member a whose horizontal limb b is T-shaped in crosssection for engaging a similar slot in the table and whose vertical limb c is provided with a series of holes f for adjustably securing an arm g carrying a work-clamping screw h. The arm is secured by a stud k passing through one of the holes f, the stud being formed integral with the arm or screwing into a hole therein and the arm having flanges m embracing the limb c. The screw h has a swivelling pad i for engaging the work.
