565,169. Driving printing-machines. BRYDEN, G., and MARSHALL, SONS & CO., Ltd. July 20, 1943, No. 11783. Drawings to Specification. [Class 100 (ii)] [Also in Group XXII] Relates to an arrangement of drive described with reference to drawing-wire and stated to be applicable to printing-machines in which a continuous length of material is moved by a number of parts separately driven by D.C. electric motors and consists in connecting the armatures in series. The field coils may be connected either in series or in parallel, but in each case separate manual regulation of each field is provided for to enable the tensions in the material to be adjusted as required.
