Abstract

565,060. Slippers. ROTHWELL & MARKUS, Ltd., and MARKUS, H. Jan. 1, 1943, No. 28. [Class 17 (ii)] Footwear of the soft-sole turn-shoe type is provided between the inner lining c and outer surface of the sole A with a platform B of felted fibre, wood, leather, rubber, artificial resin &c. the rear portion of which is considerably deeper than the front portion, the latter merging at the instep into the much deeper heel portion, whilst the bottom surface is flat over its whole length. A stiffener E is inserted in the rear part of the heel portion of the upper D and another stiffener F is located in the waist portion of the sole below the sock lining c.
