[Class 38 (ii)] In an inverter system in which an electromagnetic interrupter 17 converts D.C. from a source 23 into pulsating current in an inductance 16 which supplies an output circuit 26 by means, for example, of a transformer 11, the change in output voltage due to change in voltage of the source 23 is minimized by making the inductance 16 " saturable " and connecting it in series with a linear inductance which has two equal windings 31, 32 through which the pulsating current alternately passes.
