Abstract

562,246. Beams; floors; walls. FROMSON, B. W. Oct. 20, 1942, No. 14657. [Class 20 (iv)] A beam is formed of an open latticework girder - like assembly 21 and a layer of concrete 20 supported on plates 23 secured to the webs of the lattice work. The plates may project beyond the ends of the lattice work and projecting parts of the webs are embedded in the concrete. A floor or wall is formed of a spaced beam and intermediate plates supporting a continuous layer of concrete.
