[Class 102 (i)] [Also in Group XXVI] Priming means for any type of rotary pump a comprises a spring-loaded reciprocating pump k, the movable member n of which forms closure member of a byepass passage between the delivery g and inlet f passages of the rotary pump. The latter may be a gear pump. The inlet and outlet passages are provided with non-return valves i. The reciprocating pump is formed of a diaphragm n, which ,may be actuated manually or otherwise, or a sliding piston may be used. The two pumps may be separated.
