Abstract
557,655. Electrodeposition of nickel. PROTECTIVE METAL FINISHES, Ltd., and BERGSTEIN, G. K. Oct. 14, 1942, No. 14398. [Class 41] Anodes of aluminium, magnesium, or an alloy of these metals are employed in the electrodeposition of nickel, the bath specified being a solution of nickel sulphate with boric, acetic, or citric acid and ammonium chloride or sodium carbonate. The bath is maintained slightly acid (pH 5.8-6) and at a temperature of 30-33‹ C. The anodes may be enclosed in containers (e.g. wooden boxes) provided with walls of fabric.
