[Class 83 (ii)] [Also in Group XXIV] In stamping chain wheels and hubs for cycles from sheet metal the hub a is drawn from the metal displaced during the formation of the central hole. Ribs c are at the same time stamped on the spokes b and the hub is displaced laterally of the plane of the wheel. In a modification splines are formed in the hub during stamping.
