Abstract

294,960. Gausse, A. Aug. 2, 1927, [Convention date]. Tyre attachments to rims.-In a divisible rim, the detachable side-flange 4, of the split-ring type, and a stepped portion 2 of the main rimpart 1 are formed with screw-threads 6, 3 which are interengaged by contraction of the flange 4. The ends of the flange have lugs 15 to receive a cramp or like tool and are locked in the assembled position by means of a plate 11 formed with teeth 12 to engage corresponding serrated slots in the flange. The plate 11, which is pivoted at 10 to one end of the flange, is also formed with a finger 14 to engage a hole 13 in the other end of the flange.
