Abstract
555,154. Alloys. FRY'S METAL FOUNDRIES. Ltd., and HARPER, R. G. Feb. 4, 1942, Nos. 1475 and 3733. [Class 82 (i)] Soldering is effected with the aid of lead alloys containing 2.5-17 per cent. of tin and 2.5-10 per cent. of antimony, the antimony content being not more than the tin content. Examples contain (a) 12 per cent. of tin and 8 per cent. of antimony; (b) 5 per cent. of tin and 4 per cent. of antimony.
