Abstract

A solder for attaching the casing of a turbine blade to its core comprises an alloy containing 50 per cent nickel, 8 per cent tin, 3 per cent silicon and the balance copper or an alloy containing 5 per cent nickel, 5 per cent iron, 5 per cent aluminium and the balance copper.
