[Class 135] A sender unit for a fluid pressure remote control system comprises a piston 31 maintained in a neutral position by pressure in an outlet 32 and a spring 34, an operating member 23 for varying the spring pressure and so actuating the piston to place a pressure pipe 12 or an exhaust pipe 26 into communication with the outlet, and a pump 65 actuated by the member 23 for evacuated leakage fluid from the spring chamber to exhaust. Means are provided for holding the member 23 in adjusted position, preferably including a cam 44, lever 46 and tension spring 50, and a compressed damping spring surrounding the pivot of the member. Air venting means comprise passages 62, a deflector plate 63, and a tube 61 apertured at 64. Specifications 483,049, 543,894, 551,256, 551,258, 551,259 and 551,260 are referred to.
