548,149. Flexible coupling and mountings. ANDRE RUBBER CO., Ltd., T. B., and FRENCH, R. D. March 25, 1941, No. 4005. [Class. 108 (iii)] A flexible coupling or mounting comprises an inner waisted member A, and an outer annular member D having an inside diameter less than the ends of A, while a rubber sleeve G is bonded to A and D. The member D may be in two parts connected by bolts F, and the part A may be secured to a fixed base C by a bolt B while the machine &c. to be mounted is secured to D. In another form, D is mounted in a support fixed to C, and A is bolted to the machine. In another form, the outer surfaces of A, D, G are enclosed by a flexible dust cover.
