[Classes 92 (ii) and 119] Relates to muzzle-loading non-recoil guns of the type described in Specification 23512/11, [Class 92 (ii)], in which the recoil is neutralized by the rearward discharge of the barrel. According to the present invention, the gun is adapted to be fired from the shoulder by providing the cradle B for the sliding barrel A with an offset butt or stock D and sights C so that the gun can be aimed and fired from the shoulder after the manner of a rifle. The Provisional Specification states that the cradle may be mounted on a gun carriage and elevated and traversed like a field gun.
