Abstract

543,699. Thermal switches. BULPITT & SONS, Ltd., and BULPITT, W. H. Aug. 20, 1941, No. 10601. [Class 38 (v).] In a thermal switch wherein a ratchet wheel 24, held fast by fusible material, is engaged by a tooth 33 on a plunger 30 which, when the fusible material melts, is driven by a spring 39 to break the heating circuit, e.g. by ejecting a plug connecter, the tooth 33 is during re-setting guided into engagement with the ratchet wheel by an inclined guide plate 35.
