[Class 80 (ii)] [Also in Group XXII] In a combined friction and dog clutch between vertical input and output shafts 6, 15, engagement is effected by depressing the input shaft 6, which first engages a friction disc clutch 20 through a spring 22 which subsequently is further compressed, as permitted by pins and slots 23, to allow a dog clutch 19 to engage and impart a positive drive.
