[Class 99 (i)] A pipe 30 of rectangular cross-section is backed by a tubular part 28 and connected to a plate 34 by a sheet of rubber or other flexible material 32 which is secured to the plate and between flanges 29, 31. A backing-plate 35 completes the joint. The joint may be applied to a vacuum cleaner to secure the dust bag.
