Abstract
539,129. Alloys. LEHMANN, H. L., and SONDHEIMER, A. May 31, 1940, No. 9547. [Class 82 (i)] Alloys for tools, electric contacts &c. of the type comprising tungsten or like carbides and binding metals such as cobalt contain also a small amount of one or more alloys of titanium with elements such as iron, copper, manganese, or silicon. An example consists of 95 per cent. of tungsten carbide, 3 per cent. of cobalt, and 2 per cent. of ferro-titanium containing 40 per cent. of titanium.
