[Class 70] [Also in Group XIII] A loose-fill material is made by grinding the dried composite material made by the process of the parent Specification, and it may be used as heat insulating material for refrigerators &c. on account of its moisture resisting properties. In examples a neutral pulp of news stock is mixed with regranulated cork and paraffin wax emulsion, dried and ground to a fluffy material. A small amount of latex, dispersed mineral oil, resin and soluble soap may also be added. The product obtained without the addition of cork may be used as a cement aggregate. Specifications 528,308, 540,831 and 543,803, [all in Group III], are referred to.
