Abstract

537,898. Lamps. ILIFFE, A. E., and BENJAMIN ELECTRIC, Ltd. Feb. 9, 1940, No. 2518. [Classes 75 (ii) and 75 (iv)] A fitting for a tubular electric light 3 comprises a trough like reflector 1 provided with windows 2 by which a certain amount of light may pass to provide general illumination above the fitting. A supplementary angular reflector 4 may be formed by the bottom of a chamber 5 which may form a wiring channel. Angular reflectors 6 may also be provided to direct light reflected from the reflector 4 through the windows 2. A pair of tubular lights may be arranged side by side in the reflector 1.
