Convention date, May 17, 1938, [Class 18] A carton for carrying two rows of bottles comprises a creasable cardboard strip, bent to shape and secured at the ends 5, 5<SP>1</SP> as shown to form handle flaps. The bottlenecks project through holes in the inclined walls 4, 4<SP>1</SP> which are cut to form flaps 7, 7<SP>1</SP>. The flaps can be pivoted about their top edges to release the bottles. Cartons with single rows of bottles can also be provided with bottle-releasing flaps. U.S.A. Specifications 2,094.744 and 2.070.399 are referred to.
