Abstract

527,995. Pneumatic tyres. SOC. ITALIANA PIRELLI. April 25, 1939, No. 12422. Convention date, April 26, 1938, [Class 144 (ii)] A pneumatic tyre, comprising a fabric casing 1 of approximately circular r cross - section and a flat tread 2 of a width substantially equal to the over-all width of the casing, is moulded with the tread having a slight crosssectional concavity which is suppressed on inflation and remains so under normal working loads. The invention is stated to be particularly applicable to tyres of the kind described in Specification 486,147.
