Abstract

527,942. Thermionic valves. M-O VALVE CO., Ltd., and McAULAY, T. S. April 24, 1939, No. 12260. [Class 39 (i)'] In valves wherein at least two anodes 2, 3 are spaced along a common cathode 1 but are insulated from each other, two support wires 4, 5 are provided one anode being welded to each wire. The anodes are also supported by pairs of clips 10 or 11 passing through slots in mica spacers 6, 7 carried by the wires. Two such sets of electrodes with pairs of support wires may form a single valve. The wires 4, 5 pass through the pinch and are connected to leads.
