Abstract

527,046. Gloves. BOGARD, E. 1. W. March 29, 1939, No. 9882. [Class 141] [Also in Group V] The finger tips of rubber gloves are made with a rough or mat surface without weakening them by diminishing the thickness. Raised ridges or dots on a mat surface may be formed by suitably treating the interior surface of the mould on which the gloves are made. A rubber composition giving a' mat surface may be used to form the tips. An adhesive may be applied to the tips and dust, e.g., leather dust blown on. The roughening may be formed on both the inside and the outside of the tips. Patches of roughened or mat rubber b may be vulcanized to or cemented to the tips.
