Abstract

383,235. Compound glass. K€MPFER, A., 16, Rue d'Antin, Paris, and PLÍTZE, A. C., 6, Stormstrasse, Charlottenburg, Berlin. July 11, 1932, No. 19563. [Class 140.] Compound glass consists of glass sheets a, b, with an intervening sheet c of binding material such as resin or artificial resin and rubber in which is embedded wire reinforcement d consisting of woven wire netting or separate parallel wires. When rubber is included in the sheet c, vulcanization is effected after the compound sheet is formed. More than two sheets of glass may be used with binding material and wire reinforcement between each sheet.
