473,747. Foot - supports. BROSTEN, H. G., and KENTH, O. E. March 12, 1937, No. 7293. [Class 17 (ii)] A pad 1 for flat feet is formed of a filling material 5 consisting essentially of caoutchouc in the thicker part of which is vulcanized a layer 6 of fragments of cork, the filling material being arranged between two outer pieces of material 7 and 8 such as canvas. Caoutchouc may be removed by grinding or applied by vulcanization to give the filling any desired shape to fit the foot. The pad may be somewhat cup-shaped with upturned edges 2, 3 and 4.
