526,284. Driving chains. MAVOR & COULSON, Ltd., and MAYOR, J. B. March 11, 1939, No. 7933. [Class 24] The links A, B are connected by a hardened steel bush D having a head 1 which is inserted from one side of the chain and a soft steel pin E with a head 4 inserted from the other side of the chain and riveted over at its end C. The heads of the bush and the pin lie in countersunk holes in the links B to be flush with the face ; and the bore of the bush is also countersunk at its end 2. In a modification, the head of the bush may be formed as a separate ring.
