526,161. Door-operating appliances. ADAMS & SON, Ltd., J., WEBBERLEY, J. A., KELTING, G., and READE, C. March 9, 1939, No. 7700. [Class 65 (i)] Door-closing apparatus comprises a lever system 13. 14 pivoted on a bracket &c. 12 on the door 11, one arm 13 being connected at 17 to a check while the other is connected to a link 23 pivoted at 24 to the door frame. Opening the door turns the lever system on its pivot against the action of a spring or springs which close the door against the damping action of the check 18.
