[Class 52 (ii)] [Also in Group XXIII] Corner blocks for connecting or reinforcing adjoining wood surfaces at an angle to one another comprise a number of thin layers of wood of equal curvature glued together face to face and with the grain extending substantially in the line of curvature of the layers while the convexly curved side of the block faces the apex of the corner formed by the wood surface to be joined. The blocks are cut from a slade of wood made up of superposed and glued layers of equal curvature and the equal curvature is obtained by impression in inflexible equally curved halves of a pressure mould during the glueing of the layers.
