[Class 64 (i)] To prevent furring at the inner end of a siphon outlet, the outlet pipe 1, which has an outer " swanneck extension and is adapted to be rotated in a fixed sleeve 2, is provided with scrapers 6, 10, which, when the outlet is turned, move over the end of the pipe and over the inner surface of the siphon cap 9. The scraper arms 6 are secured to a head 5 screwed on the end of the outlet pipe and contact with the surface of a collar 8 at the top of the fixed sleeve 2. The cap 9 is secured to the head 5 and the scrapers 10 are brazed and clamped to the sleeve 2.
