522,978. Vehicle wheels. BROWN & SONS (HUDDERSFIELD), Ltd., D., and HILL, W. L. Dec. 22. 1938, No. 37257. [Classes 144 (i) and 144 (ii)] A wheel for tractor and like vehicles comprises separable rim and wheel-centre members each formed with laterally-offset peripheral portions so that by interchanging their positions of attachment to one another, and in some cases' to the axle &c. flange, the tracking-width of the vehicle may be varied. As shown, the rim b is fitted with offset brackets b<SP>1</SP> adapted to be bolted, directly or through a spacing-member, to the offset flange a<SP>1</SP> of the hub-ring a. Intermediate rim brackets c may be secured to a ring d connecting the brackets b<SP>1</SP>. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 483,126.
