Abstract

176,553. Scotti, A. Dec. 22, 1920. Disc wheels; tyres, non-elastic.- The ground. wheels of agricultural and like tractors are provided with flat spokes 12 disposed transversely of the wheel and extending at 15 beyond the rim to function as spuds. The wheels are preferably cast in one piece and in one construction, Fig. 2, comprise a rim 14 at one side of the spokes and a strengthening ring 16 of less diameter on the other side. In the modification shown in Fig. 4, the spokes support a rim 21 on each side. Apertures 17 may be provided on the spokes to assist in the discharge of accumulations of earth.
