264,702. Boyd, D. April 20, 1926. Double and multiple wheels arranged side by side; tyres, non-elastic, and rims. - A tractor wheel comprises spaced rims 3 carrying groundengaging grippers 14 and having an interposed loose endless ring 2 for removing soil adhesions. The rims 3, preferably V-shaped, are supported from the hub by spokes which are bolted to the side faces of the rims. Stays 11 limit the movement of the ring 2. When the wheel penetrates the soil, the ring 2, contacting with the ground, oscillates to cast off soil adhesions. Fig. 4 shows a wheel having three rims 3.
