Tyres, non-elastic; tyre-scrapers carried by wheels.-For clearing a tractor &c. wheel of clods picked up by the strakes, a ring 12 of greater diameter than the wheel rim 11 is fitted loosely between the brakes 13, 14. Clearance-holes 17 mav also be provided in the rim. The strakes, which are shown formed by channel-plates bolted to the wheel are preferably set with a backward rake relative to the forward travel of the wheel, the rake of the, leading strakes 13 being less than that of the trailing strakes 14.
