Abstract

122,359. Fisher, W. G., Reid, G. H., and Brown, D. B. July 2, 1918. Portable-track wheels.-A self-laid track for a vehicle wheel consists of a series of flat tread plates 4 each having a pair of rails 5, 6 forming lateral guides for the wheel rim 1<2>, the plates being pivoted to bearings 2 on the inner periphery of the rim by pairs of crossed links 8-9, 8<x>-9<x>. The shoes are formed with lugs 4<x>, 4', 4<2>, 4<3>, which, with the flanges 5, 6, provide the bearings for the links 8 &c.
