Portable-track wheels.-Endless tracks for road vehicles consist of a series of track plates 6, of which the adjacent members are connected together by one or more rope sections 8. The ends of the rope sections are secured in holders 9, which are passed laterally behind slotted lugs 7 on the track plates and retained by pivoted cover plates 10. In the case of driving-wheels, pins 2 are provided on the rim and engage recesses in members 4 on the track plates.
