Abstract

443,877. Vehicle wheels. EDWARDS, Ltd., P., 125, Lee High Road, London, and JARVIS, D. S., Oak Lawn, Leesons Hill, Chislehurst, Kent. Sept. 28, 1935, No. 26857. [Class 144 (i)] A vehicle wheel of the tangent-spoke type consists of flanges 7, 8 secured or non-rotatably attached to the ends of a hub 2, and a series of X-shaped pairs of spokes 16, secured to the flanges and with their free ends secured to the rim 1 at 16a, 16b. The flanges have curled-over portions 13, 14 forming a series of circumferential holes 15 in which are secured the connecting portions 17 at the inner ends of the spokes, which are positioned alternately at each end of the hub.
