The representation formed of glass strips 27 arranged end on in corresponding apertures in the front plate 10 so as to project therefrom is backed by a coloured plate 28 held by a flanged metal clip 29 secured to the plate 10. A tubular lamp 25 is mounted in end supports in the casing in front of a reflector 21 supported in spaced relation from the casing. Ventilating apertures 17 with screening cover plates 20 are provided in the casing. Fig. 8 shows another method of mounting the representation 32 on the plate 10.
