[Classes 99 (i) and 99 (ii)] [Also in Group XVII] A device for coupling flanged tubes &c. consists of a metal ring 3 having rows of tongues 5, 5<1> formed by perforation, which can be pushed in under the flanges 7. Packing 8 is interposed between the flanges 7. The tongues 5 are curved in section and their base lines are at an angle to the longitudinal direction of the flanges 7.
