[Class 146 (ii)] Sleeves for sealing metal bands are formed from channel section metal with outwardly - flaring flanges 2 and body 1, the body being outwardly bowed for resilient engagement within the jaws of the press. The flanges 2, recessed at 7, are splayed outwardly and additionally splayed at their ends 2<SP>1</SP> to determine the extent of insertion into the jaws.
