[Class 97 (i)] The lens has a bowl-shaped corneal portion and an annular scleral portion whose interior sections in perpendicular meridional planes constitute arcs of circles of different radii. The two arcs forming the sections of the two sides of the scleral portions in one of the planes may be concentric or have different centres on either side of the lens axis.
