513,900. Granulating slag. WALLACE, N. E., LEFEBURE, V., and IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. Feb. 22, 1938, No. 5508. [Class 82 (ii)] [Also in Group V] Blast furnace slag is granulated by being quenched in lime water. The lime water contains dissolved calcium hydroxide with or without a small quantity, e.g., up to 5 per cent. by weight, of suspended solid calcium hydroxide. Specification 513,897, [Group V], is referred to.
