546,629. Slag. cements. BJORKMAN, E. B., and ESCOR INDUSTRIES, Ltd. Jan. 16, 1941, No. 617. [Class 22] A water-setting metallurgical cement comprises blast furnace slag, natural or artificial anhydrite, hydrated lime and (or) Portland cement clinker, and a small percentage, i.e. 0.1-3 per cent., of a sulphate that is more readily soluble than natural or artificial anhydrite, e.g. gypsum in its raw state or calcined to the hemihydrate or an alkali sulphate. Specification 546,628, is referred to.
