[Class 108 (iii)] A vehicle or aircraft hydraulic shock-absorber wherein the damping liquid is enclosed by an airtight liquid chamber into which an air vent tube i and a filling tube h for liquid extend, the filling tube to a lower level than the air vent tube, is characterized in that the outer ends of both the air vent tube and the filling tube are close together and are covered by a screw cap k in common.
