[Class 44] [Also in Group XXXI] A clip and bracket device for securing mud-guards stays to cycle and like vehicle frames comprises a slotted bracket part 11 (to which a mudguard stay may be connected by a T- headed bolt as described in Specification 230,268, [Class 136 (i)]). with diverging arms 12, 13 one or both of which is resilient, One end of the band 14 is permanently secured to arm 12, and arm 13 has a tongue 16 which may be selectively engaged in one of a series of perforations 15 formed in the band. Tightening is effected by a bolt and nut 17 applied to the arms 12, 13, the resilient engagement of which serving to retain the screw and nut against loosening.
