Abstract

419,093. Clasp fastenings. CRABTREE, H., 289, Hagley Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham. June 17, 1933, No. 17283. [Class 43.] A clasp fastening for a lady's scarf, &c., comprises front and back frame members 1, 2, joined by a junction bar 3 to form a resilient substantially U-shaped device curved longitudinally. The frame member 1 consists of side bars 5 and end bars 6, and the frame member 2 of side bars 7, end bars 8, and intermediate cross-bars 9, 10. The ends of the scarf are threaded through the device, as shown. The rectangular frame member 1, may be replaced by an ornamental gripping tongue 17, Fig. 6. Specification 359,695 is referred to.
