511,583. Vacuum cleaners. HOOVER, Ltd. (Hoover Co.). Feb. 19, 1938. No. 5322. Drawings to Specification. [Class 8 (i)] In a vacuum cleaner having a body including a suction nozzle and an electric motor and a fan driven thereby, and front and rear supporting wheels behind the nozzle mounted on axes fixed in relation to the nozzle, propelled by a pivoted handle, the diameters and treads of the wheels and the distribution of weight and the strength of the handle-supporting spring are so chosen and related that the front wheels do not sink into the carpet more than the rear wheels when the cleaner is stationary or in operation. Specification 511,532 is referred to.
