Abstract
509,708. Drawing. SCHLOEMANN AKT.- GES. Jan. 19, 1938, No. 1820. Convention date, Sept. 10, 1937. [Class 83 (iv)] Apparatus for correcting the shape of section bars comprises carriages 2, 3 to which the bar is clamped. The carriage 2 is fixed to a bed 1 and the carriage 3 is traversed by a hydraulic cylinder unit 4 to place the bar in tension. A die exactly corresponding to the section is then drawn along the bar by a carriage 5 moved by an electro motor 7 and rack and pinion mechanism to effect straightening.
