[Class 144 (i)] A wheel comprises a disc 1 with its edge formed with slits 7 to provide tongues 4, 5 which are alternately oppositely bent to fit plosely against a a well-base rim 6, welded joints being made at the edges and base of the rim. The latter may be of relatively light-gauge metal. Specification 497,769 is referred to.
